How to Use Privacy & Safety Features on SindhiJodi

Your Privacy is Our Priority

SindhiJodi gives you granular control over every piece of your data. Here is how to lock down your profile and stay safe.

Step 1: Open Settings

Click your avatar → Settings. You will see tabs for Privacy, Security, Notifications, and Account.

Step 2: Control Photo Visibility

Under Privacy, toggle photo visibility. You can keep photos public, visible only to accepted matches, or upload Private Photos that require explicit approval.

Step 3: Hide Contact Information

By default, contact details (phone, email) are masked. Only mutually accepted matches with Gold or Platinum membership can request to view them.

Step 4: Manage Online Status & Read Receipts

Toggle Show Last Seen and Read Receipts off if you prefer to browse privately. Note: disabling these also hides your matches' status from you.

Step 5: Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Go to Security → enable 2FA. Scan the QR code with Google Authenticator or Authy. This adds an extra layer of protection on every login.

Step 6: Block, Report, or Hide

• Block: Use the menu on any profile or chat to instantly block a user
• Report Misuse: Visit Report Misuse to flag suspicious behavior to our admin team
• Hide Profile: Temporarily hide your profile from search without deleting account

Bonus: Trusted Devices & Login Alerts

In Security settings, view all active sessions, revoke unknown devices, and enable login notifications to receive an email whenever someone signs in.

Profile Visibility Modes (New)

SindhiJodi now gives you three ways to control who can discover your profile in browse, search and recommendations:

• Everyone (Default) — Any verified member can see your profile in browse and search results. Sensitive details (full name, contact, parents' info, income, birth time) stay gated by the standard match + premium rules.
• Matches-only (Gold & Platinum) — Your profile is hidden from browse, search and recommendations. Only members you have a mutual match with can open your profile.
• Hidden Mode / Stealth Browsing (Platinum-only) — You become fully invisible in search and recommendations. You can still browse others and send interests; your profile only becomes visible to people you have sent an accepted interest to or matched with. Perfect when you want to keep your search completely private.

If your Platinum plan downgrades to Gold, Hidden mode automatically falls back to Matches-only. If premium expires, visibility resets to Everyone. You can change your mode anytime from Settings → Privacy → Profile Visibility.
